Accademia Italiana Napoli is in het hartje Napels gevestigd en is één van de meest populaire scholen in Italië. De school specialiseerd in Italiaans onderwijzen aan buitenlandse studenten zoals uzelf. De shoolklassen zijn zeer klein (100 maximale studenten) en al de school's docenten spreken Italiaans als moedertaal. Accademia Italiana is a Language and Culture Centre, founded in 1997 and specialized in teaching Italian as Second language to international students. Accademia Italiana represents one of the most accredited institution in the South of Italy, being recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education and by the University for Foreigners of Siena and the University for Foreigners of Perugia as an official examination centre for the official Italian certifications CELI, CILS and DITALS.
Accademia Italiana has 2 schools in 2 different destinations in Campania Region (South-Italy): SALERNO, on the beautiful Amalfi Coast and NAPLES, the beautiful regional capital city.
Salerno is a mid-sized city with human size, all the main attractions are at few minutes walking distance, including our student accommodation. Accademia Italiana in Salerno has 2 campuses located by seaside, in via Roma 39 and 45 in the heart of the historical city.
Naples is the big capital of Campania Region full of ancient art, history and culture. Accademia Italiana in Naples is located in Palazzo Augusteo in via Toledo 265, in the heart of the monumental city, 5 minutes walking to Piazza del Plebiscito and the Royal Palace.
Both destinations Salerno and Naples are very traditional and they are the ideal places to experience the authentic Italian life, while improving the Italian language, thanks to the wide range of courses and activities and package programs offered by Accademia Italiana. All our classrooms are equipped with modern technology ( computers, TV screens) and our native teachers are highly qualified in teaching Italian as Second Language to International Students.
From both, Salerno and Naples, it is easly possibile to reach many famous touristic places such as Amalfi, Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii, Paestum, Capri, Procida and Ischia in few minutes by public transport.

All was very good, the location of the school is excellent, housing I did by myself, teacher nice and competent. Very satisfactory. But I would have liked to do a bit more grammar, not so much just free conversation. Alsao would have appreciated to have more cultural program. But overall I was very happy with the school.

I very much enjoyed my classes at Accademia Italiana Napoli. My teacher, Sra. Allesandra was excellent, and the school was centrally located on the Via Toledo which made it an easy base from which to sightsee in the afternoons after class let out. Having the class taught 100% in Italian made it immersive and challenging. Napoli is a wonderful city.

I didn't participate in many of the extracurricular activities, but mostly because I had developed a pretty long list of things to do and see on my own in my free time. In retrospect, I do wish I had taken advantage of the trip to Caserta.

The only part of the experience that I couldn't recommend was the housing. Located in Chiaia, it was a 20-25 minute walk each way to the school and the apartment was generally lacking in amenities with spotty WiFi service. It was also located behind a bar, which meant it could be quite noisy at night. (Fortunately, I had earplugs.) If I were to do this again (and I very well might!), I would book my own accommodation and would recommend others to do the same.
